TJ Hertz’s first original release since 2014 in the form of Objekt #4, and he trows it down.... two tracks that pay tribute to Basement Q in its later years (beloved haunt in Berlin’s Schöneberg district) Techno background , UKG vibes , breaks - all the unique underground mix. One per customer.
Tokyo-based J M S Khosah (NCA cassettes) EX-VU staff with proper influences, continues to investigate his analog sound and rightly the time has come to drop his debut EP - Apron agree. Raw funk ridden 4/4 cuts , proper underground attitude and sound. Still Human: "It is no measure of health to be well adjusted to a profoundly sick society"
Sydney’s Outer Time Inner Space move from record store to record label in 2017, Sean Thomas aka Cop Envy (Opal tapes) 3am style 4/4 club excursions , full of melody and feeling . The Weigh kicks it tight for more peak time
Gigi Masin, Vakula and Roman Flügel line up on this first 10 Year Anniversary 12" for Dekmantel…All 3 tracks hitting the spot..10 eps in total.. Each EP comes in an unique full-color printed inner-sleeve, housed in a glossy outer-sleeve with logo punch out. Shinkwrapped, stickered and pressed on 180g vinyl
Nice Blurb...."The Lord Of The Flies has awoken ! Ancient demons wielding new technology to bend the will of the weak towards the decadance of the dance. Beelzedubs arrives, like the prophetic, sonic alarm of the forthcoming apocalypse, and urges us to get down for the devil" These are household names in UK dancefloor destruction, but the rules of these darkest of arts means they must operate under cover of night - bass led freakout new industrial-disco - fresh isht!
Common Edit back in action, First up is Common Edit OG, Dane, with a blast to the Canadian past in 'Dance To Forget' A lovely little cruiser that takes you right down cosmic lane with Captain Space Echo in the drivers seat.On the "B"edroom side, Khotin and Dane chop up an Eastern floater with dubbed-out pianos, sure to keep your hands in the air and head in the clouds.
GC continue quietly dissing out the quality .. "a power Ambient head cleaner in four parts, built for the club, and best enjoyed at high volume" Strong piano led chiller - Basic Mind on the flip with a striped out 4/4 burner mix.
Extended player from minimalist live disco outfit Harvey Sutherland and Bermuda - 6 track mini lp with the modern live sound (think Metro Area with a studio band)
SDC returns to R&S in full astro-boogie mode , hot Swede Kornél Kovács with a tougher roller version - EP finishes with Biopan, Hamill in more contemplative mood - pulsing drums, a subdued bass figure and woozy synth melodies combine
2015 Help 12" online here for first time - bumper comp of their warm and freaky sounds - no dust on these modern house adventures tho
Ranging from up-tempo to Balearic beat re-versions .. Pete Herbert brings an 80’s dance floor flavor with massive stabs to perk up any situation. A Vision Of Panorama mix is a beautiful mellow, sexy sunshine anthemic tune . Greeen Linez has the ultra lounge, 90’s jazz groove covered here perfectly.
Powder, she is from Tokyo (recent Born Free and ESP Institute goodies) Inspired by her first visit to Cocktail d'Amore and the atmosphere, she started working on an EP for the label capturing her personal and unique experiences from the party. The opener Hip has a driving sensual groove with hints of acid, seasoned with a good amount of loons and a mysterious foggy melody while Heart sounds like an italo disco aural translation of a shojo manga script for a fun in the sun tinged story. On the flip side a slowmo industrial-meets-rainforest groove characterizes Hole followed by Hair in which she blends many layers of rhythm patterns together.
For Those That Knoe continues the mission into Detroit inspired house and techno - for the second Casey Tucker ep there is a rarity from 1996 plus we think two previously unreleased cuts from the archives
ER reissue this rare mid-80s LP - diggers have long been fawning after! Fusing catchy pop-rock workouts with truly madcap moments and glued together by lots and lots of synths, a "seductive synthwave sound"
Queen and Disco are back with a two track record " Nothin' Fancy EP" on their own imprint . On the a side we have the slower of the two tracks "Lets go all the way" a brass filled disco delight staying true to its original form. Flip to the b side and you are welcomed with a percussion laden groove that is up on tempo as well as excitable vocals with everlasting shouts of "be yourself".
