2015 reissue of this rare 1994 Armando EP - Didnt really know the story behind this , sounds like odd collection of tracks , maybe from old dat's , wasnt even sure if it was Armando at the time and was often a bargain bin 12"! Some killer jackers on here spiced with the odd jazz sample cut - lots o Chitown fun.
The hip house boom was in full effect, thanks to Tyree Cooper's efforts, and Trax responded with this double-header. 'Power Move' is straight up hip hop, but it's the flip, producer by Trax regular Lidell Townsell, 'I'll Make You Dance' that does the business here. Kool Rock Steady, also known as Edward Rudolph, dated but pure sound thats oh so fresh now and after Boiler Room plays this has had a lot of interest in last few years - sounds great loud , proper old Chicago.
Trax launches a new re issue series "Chicago Trax", which delves deeper into the archives to unearth more 'lost tracks' from the legendary Chicago house label. Features Ron Hardy - Sensation - dub mix too - a classic early Chi Town joint thats appeared elesewhere in last few years but is always being discovered

Trax 2016 reissue of this double pack originally released in 2002 and features some unreleased and alternative mixes and versions of some classics and various projects - all very confusing and possibly just usual Trax dodgey unorganised style - pay the artist! Check discogs for some description of different track titles , main one we spotted was "It Will Make You Happy" is "Music" that killer deep bonus cut from a Liz Torres bargain bin 12"
Official remastered re-issue of DJ Joe Lewis' 1988 Change Reaction EP. The full 6 tracks (2 came out again on Relief in the 90's) early house history, prices for originals will make you weep and you'll laugh at the story of him bootlegging Jaime Read in later years, which makes you think if he did these tracks or not - they are amazing whatever.
