Back in....First recorded in 1983 under the name Visual, Boyd Jarvis's cut The Music Got Me is one of the first true house records. A staple on the 80s New York club scene, the visionary instrumental dub was played everywhere from the Paradise Garage to Zanzibar, dance-floors packing to it's mix of throbbing bass and wooshes of analogue synth magic. Ransom Note ,obsessed with the record and when House Hunting's Aiden D'Araujo interviewed Boyd the license was sorted! Remastered from Boyd's original tapes by Keith Tenniswood at Curved Studios. With a dubbed out masterpiece from Nick the Record and Dan Tyler of the Idjut Boys (Record Mission) Bawrut mix too throwing in Latin percussion, layers of screwball 303 burbles, and fun.
Nicholson's second album on Swiss quality imprint deepArtSounds. He once again sets his footprint firmly in the musical foundation, serving us 8 sweet soul tracks. The song Gravitation is a mixture of wicked playful Jazz and atmospheric Ambient interludes. On the other side, Anthony's cover version of John Lennon "Imagine" sounds already epic. Full of soul and emotions.

Back in...Plain sleeve...Chicago legend Jamie 3:26 teaming up with Amsterdam's new shining star Masalo for a gospel inspired Disco / House jam that comes with a warehouse rumble feel and powerful message. On the flip Sameed is back on Local Talk with 'Can't U'. A track that uses the same foundation as Testify but instead goes straight for that dirty disco knock out punch...+ 'Dusty Jazz', a fender rhodes driven Jazz-House cut that sounds like it comes straight from a dark juke joint in Manchester.
Pure class - the powerful soulful Hajime Yoshisawa (on wurlitzer) instrumental mix - similiar to the original LP mix but more of a spiritually rising slice of latin fused house - totally Vega! Josh Milan with the new fuller house vocal remix on the flip
